After losing to Gilbert Burns in UFC 287, Jorge Masvidal declares his retirement.

Masvidal lost to Gilbert Burns in the UFC for the first time in a row, and the veteran MMA fighter afterwards declared his retirement.

Gilbert Burns' victory against Jorge Masvidal was his fourth straight loss, and as a result, Masvidal made his UFC retirement announcement.

Masvidal, 38, intimated that he would give up fighting if he lost to Burns before their bout, and he kept his word after falling victim to the Brazilian on Saturday night, losing by unanimous decision. In front of his native Miami audience, "Gamebred" was hoping to win for the first time in more than two years, but Burns proved to be too much for him that evening.
